Will stock for Sav 16 short action fit a Steven 200 S.A.?

Midway has one of the laminated stocks and I am ready to throw the original syn stock away. Will a stock for a Savage 16 fit the Stevens 200?? Kudude

If they have the same kind of magazine set up (staggered feed or inlne feed, single shot, etc) then it will drop right in.
