Tucker65Custom Muzzle Brakes
Hi,
If anyone is interested I make these muzzle brakes in my small home shop. I have been making them for a local gunsmith and am looking to get them out to other gunsmiths. Most of the ones I have made for him are stainless but I have also made a few steel ones too. As you can see from the picture I have made all sizes up to the big 50 BMG model shown.
If anyone has any questions about these please ask. I try to keep plenty in stock and if I don't have what you are looking for my turn-around time is very reasonable
Thanks for looking,
John Niemi

The MetalsmithHow much recoil reduction are you getting with that design? Those look pretty spiffy. What kind of stainless are you using, 416?

Tucker65These are made from 416 stainless, and most of the machine work is done on cnc equipment. As far as the recoil reduction, it is comparable to most other brakes but the noise is much less. I put one of the 50 BMG brakes on a gun a local guy built and my 105lb. girfriend shot it with no problem. It reduced the recoil to feel like about a .270.

Jim KobeI make my own also. Would you be interested in a sub-contractor?

LongshotLooks awfully simular to a Vias Brake, that I believe is pattented. Making one for yourself is one thing but selling them is another.
