Triple4McMillan stock touch-up advice
I have a basic black McMillan stock that needs a little touch-up on the cheek piece and grip. Looking for advice on durable, good looking touch-up options.
Thanks.

srtraxIf their gouges...accura glass and flat black paint added to glass. If just missing color...a flat model car paint is what I've used in the past.

RhysBlack Duplicolor bed liner in the spray can. Do a couple test pieces first to find the right distance to spray from. The farther you spray from the rougher the texture.

I saw a similar style stock pictured in an African hunt that was worn all to hell and it actually looked pretty cool and made me wonder what action it has seen. Just a thought.

You make a great point.
I have another rifle that I've considered having refinished because the bluing has worn off around the muzzle, bolt, floor plate. I always go back to deciding I like the "character" and story behind it all...
Thanks.
