dempseyLothar Walther contours
Do they have a site that shows their contours? I see numbers such as 1300, 2100, 3300 etc. I'm assuming a 1300 would be lighter contour, and the higher numbers heavier?

<Jordan>Yes. The web site has imperial numbers for muzzle diameter, shank diameter, etc.

<Celt>A #1300 is like a #3
A #2300 is like a #7.
If you need any contour "translations" drop me an email.

D HumbargerI like the 1300 contour its almost as slim & graceful as Paula Zahns legs.

ClarkI have a 2100 barrel [light varmint] and it is as thick as Paula's neck.

Pete MillanI have the 1450 "Super Magnum Sporter" contour on both my 375 and 300 H&H rifles. In the 375 the balance is superb with a 22" barrel, but 26" in 300H&H it makes for a heavy rifle. Excellent barrels - you won't be disappointed.

Andre MertensMy .338 Win has a #1450 bbl. too (.7" at the muzzle)and is quite accurate with it (5 in .7 MOA aver.) The 26" tube + Hogue stock tame recoil to a comfortable level.
