Can any advise if the thread ( action end) on the Supergrade Mod 70`s is the same as the standard old Mod 70 rifles.
I have an old 25-06 M70 that I thought about screwing a SG .308 into without any mods.
So will it screw straight in?

It'll screw in but who knows if it will index right (sights and extractor cut will line up).

Not to mention headspace correctly.

Oh, and BACO Winchesters have a different thread also, so no cross polinating there!
