Good news, Bad news
At my range yesterday, plinking at a coke can at 50 yards with my .416rem. Good accuracy off hand with about 50% hits using 1.5X5 Leupold. After half a dozen rounds, I looked down on the bench to find half the forward action screw that had broken. The rifle is on a Sako action and has had probably 400 rounds through it in the last 10 years. It has a McMillan stock which is now showing a split at the tang. Does McMillan have any sort of guarantee after 10 years? Thanks, BOB

Give them a call. As I understand it they stand behind their product 100%! No time limit.

Cobalt,
The folks at McMillan have always been very fair. Check with them at www.mcmfamily.com
My guess is that Kelly will get you an answer pretty quick. Be honest about what happened and see what they say.

Cobalt,

They absolutely positively will replace your stock, no questions asked. I have a buddy that works there. He used to complain that some customers used to cut their stocks in half with a saw after a couple of years, just so that they could get a new one in a different color. Amazing but true.
