blackeyedduelerRAP will not eject all rounds?
Will extract all rounds but one style hornady will eject and another it won’t, what’s the deal you think?

BobsterDo you mean it will eject some of one style or that it doesn't eject certain styles? Maybe those rounds don't have enough punch to cycle the action properly.

blackeyedduelerYes but it’s a bolt action, it will extract all but won’t fling it out

BobsterOh sorry, I assumed the RAP was the Russian 1911 auto pistol. Well then you need to look at the ejection mechanism. What is a RAP in your case? Is the ejector fixed or is it is it plunger operated?

eagle27The plunger operated ejector must have been pretty gunged up to not work, maybe some fine brass filings from cases that can build up on bolt faces was enough to prevent the plunger operating at its best under the spring pressure. I always clean the bolt face off after shooting a rifle for this very reason if it has a plunger type ejector.
Seems all fixed now with a good clean.
