sako action screws
Can anybody tell me if action screws from modern Sako mod 75 or 85, Tikka T-3 and 595 are same as older Sako L series. I am looking for some hex head action screws and none available that I can find except for the above. Thanks.

If memory serves, they are all M6-1 but of course the lengths are all slightly different. I buy the hex head machine screws and revamp the heads in the lathe all the time. I think the ones I get are 2 inch full thread and I cut them to length for each job.

ADD NOTE: it's a very common metric size so all of the fastener places have them.

When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years!
