StokesSako triggers for the Mauser 98
Hey Guys,
I ended up buying that G33/40, and was a bit surprised to find that it had a Sako trigger on it. At first, I thought someone had modified a A or L series trigger to fit, but an old friend of mine said that Sako used to make them, as they originally built some guns on the 98s.
So, I then remembered that I have another Sako trigger in my junk box, and sure enough, it looked to have the same diminsions.
Do you think I just happened to run across two Sako for Mauser triggers, or were these fairly common in the day?
Thanks for the insights!

JBrownI asked the same question here about a year ago. The answer was: yes they were common and they were good triggers.

airgun1FN actions commonly had Sako #4 triggers; even some J.C. Higgins model 50 and 51 has the Sako triggers in them. That is a great bonus on that 33/40!
