ab_bentleyLatest stock job
This is for a 35 Whelen built on a 1917 Enfield.
I believe the stock was cut at CST. It's for a forum member here and who has his plate full but is building it for his Grandfather. I'll get the metal in the next week or two. It'll get polished and blued. It's a Christmas present I believe.
I am using a 50/50 of mineral spirits and spar. I'm in the sludging/ filling pores process.

BoxheadLooks great. I am handy as hell with my hands but just can't see myself getting there with rifle stocks. How do you replace the wood you wished you would have left alone? I am always impressed...
