Mesquite bush/tree?
quote:
cummins cowboy:the problem I see with making a stock blank from mesquite is the trees grow more or less like a big bush, there is just not much volume to the tree. I call em the texas sage brush

Most mesquite down here is brushy but it can also get fairly big. Around Abilene, Fort Worth and South Texas I have seen some very large trees.

Thanks Tanker. I know there is a place headed north out of Abilene toward Wichita Falls, I just can't get the wife to stop.
