Will a Rem 700 Jewel trigger fit on a XR-100
I have a Jewel trigger that I bought when I had a Rem 700 22-250 I kept the trigger and sold the rifle with the original unaltered trigger.

The XR-100 has a 40x trigger on it, but I like the Jewel better.

I would like to know if the Jewel will fit on my XR-100? It was set at 1 lb from the factory and so smooth you cant feel it move at all.

Your help will be appreciated.

Yes, the M700 Jewell will fit the XR-100.

The Jewells are the best! I absolutely adore mine.

The bolt release is not the same on the Jewell Remington 700 trigger as it is on the Remington XR-100 trigger.

I looked close at it and maybe I can switch the Jewel Remington 700 bolt stop and put on the XR-100 bolt stop.

Does anyone have the home page for the person that makes the Jewell Triggers?
Maybe I can buy a replacement bolt stop from them.

If I remove the bolt stop pins will anything inside the trigger fall apart or are they just there to hold the bolt stop in place.

Your help will be appreciated.

I don't think Jewell has a webpage - rather strange these days...

But you can call them on: 512-353-2999.

I believe their address is:

Jewell Triggers
3620 Highway 123
San Marcos, TX 78666

They are usually very professional and helpful. I have bought parts from them via the phone. Have your credit card handy, though...
