Winchester push feed - control feed
What is the difference between push and control feed. is the push feed the one with a claw extractor, is it now called 3rd generation action, or new, [Confused] pre 64 if that not a contradiction. Thanks jjdero

The claw type extractor is a control round feed. If you look at a Mauser 98 that is a CRF. A Rem 700 is a push feed.

jjdero, there has been alot of argueing over which is better. If you do a search on this you will find ALOT. I have both types. My preference is a CRF.
