<RAO>Double To Single Trigger Conversion:
I have a boxlock side-by-side shotgun with 25" barrels and steight grip. The gun gandles and feels like many fine grade guns, although it is production run of local manufacturer.
All I want to change is its double triggers.I would love to have it in single non-selective trigger.
The action is common boxlock without any frills. Is this possible as a home project with minimmum professional gunsmithing and what things are involved

.Any suggestions are welcome.

p dog shooterI sure that it can be done but it is more than a home project. My question is why I love double triggers instand selection of barrels less to go wrong and they are very fast to use once you get use to them. If if wasn't such a pain to change thenm I would have double triggers on all my doubles.

<RAO>I have three more shotguns, all side by side and double triggers. And since this forth gun has short barrels and excellent fiting of stock,so I naturally use it as grouse/partridge gun.
And I am sure single trigger will make me shoot fast at those rocket propelled partridges.Any suggestions ,web link is appreciated.

Daniel MRao , some times it's complicated to fit a single trigger to a existing two trigger shotgun , more if you need to do all the mechanical parts from raw material , I suggest to do a new front trigger , very short around 12 mm ( half an inch ) with a serrated surface , then , your finger trigger , after release the first shot , pass over the short trigger and found the second trigger faster , I try a shotgun with this modification and really work great , it was from a live pigeon shooter , he need the confidence the second shoot was released no matter if the first went off or not , and some times single triggers works with recoil , and could fail .
