richjM98 trigger guard ID
Can anyone ID these markings. Engraved loop and marked "MC" and "LS". Looks like it had a block at one time.

D HumbargerThat "Ls" is original to the FN trigger guard but that MC was added latter for who knows why.
That is a trigger from a 1909 Argentine thus the hands shaking.

Thanks for the FN info. It is a 1909 action. Someone drilled a hole in the box for a block but removed it.

J WisnerIf a person is a Brother Mason and looked at all of the inspection stamps on a 1909 Arg, and understood the importance of Masonry to South America.
Then you would understand what all those inspection stamps mean.
That is a FN guard though, not bad engraving.
Most of the FN guards I have on hand, have a ML stamped in that place. So it must have been a inspection location for a stamp.
