Looks like if you need a bunch of basic stock blanks right now, Luxus is your source.

I doubt it. They probably just want to get rid of some of the "average" wood.

Well, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

NakihunterExactly what I thought.... That does not look like even average wood. They probably milled a few trees and are getting rid of stock. They are probably paying warehousing rent and not recovering it!!
I recon you can get far better wood grain semi inletted for around $250 or less. I have picked up a few from GASC California in the pat. I also like the Chiron wood inventory & some bargains do come up. I have not bought from them though.

AFreemanno we are not going out of business, the very opposite of that is the actual case.
Business is very good.
Yes we pay warehouse space, we have them in two countries…we have a large inventory, but I can assure you Naki it is recovered.
We are building firearms and this is wood that is not going to be used on our rifles...so we are liquidating it to make space for more blanks/wood that is being cut and inventoried.
We also need more space for CNC machinery.
I can also assure you that you cannot find wood this nice anywhere on the globe for anywhere near the price of $75 per blank!!!!
No where!
cheers
Adam

If you will watch carefully over the years Chiron is not posting much high grade wood anymore. Am seeing some of the same blanks over and over again.

AFreemanJust to clarify, these rifle blanks are $75 each.
$375 is for 5.
Here are a couple of old stock photos showing two of the blanks, among about 500 like this, with mineral spirits on the wood to show the figure.
The photos on Ebay are of the blanks dry.

k-9 kripplerBargin of the day right here boy's and girls! I have bought 4 blanks from Adam in the past, 3 about like these, 1 was a little more fancy. I was happy with all of them. I don't really need any blanks right now, if I did I would jump on these! Adam is a good guy to deal with!

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

FjoldI'd offer to buy 5 and split them with you guys but I'd cherry pick them and you'd get screwed.

lee440Any way we can buy them direct from you instead of E-bay? Their anti gun platform galls me. I have bought a blank from you before if that has any bearing. Please let me know as I will buy 5. Lee.

AFreemanLee, yes of course you can buy direct from us.
I myself am no fan of Ebay either, or paypal for that matrer.
But it is a good way to get the word out for us.
Many guys have been calling and buying direct from us as well as calling and making appointments to visit and fill up car trunks and truck beds.
Please call us anytime.
There are a lot of very nice blanks in the piles.
Thanks.
Adam

siceroAfter seeing these yesterday, I wouldn't hesitate to just have them send me some.
They are cut very generous, many are 2&1/2" or more. Thanks for the hospitality Adam. Kenny

22WRFlets see, how far is it from Minneapolis to where you are?
03 September 2011, 00:22
AFreemanKenny, it was a sincere pleasure meeting you both and I hope to see you guys at the Hendershots event in October.
22wrf, It is a short drive when one considers the joy of digging through hundreds of rifle blanks for a measly $75 a stick!
Ask sicero(kenny) above how nice some of these are!
Thanks all.
