Barrel threads for Montana action
What barrel thread pattern is used for the standard (long) Montana action?

I just purchased one.

if my memory doesn't fail me it is 1x16 v, same as the winchester 70. i believe the specs are also on their web sight.

You are correct Rusty! 16 threads per inch, 3/4" long 1" diameter, And no cone or extractor cuts like the Winchester M70.
