Bill SovernsAbrasive question.......
HA! now that I have your attention.
What is the difference between these two types of sandpaper?
"Resin bond Stearated"
"Resin paper Stearated"
The Resin paper costs more but Im not sure why.

BuliwyfThe resin bond can withstand higher heat generated by tool sanding than paper and is waterproof.

CustomstoxBill,
Not sure about the first part but I have an inkling about being Stearated. I think it has something to do with a sharp knife and making a tenor out of a baritone.
