Timney trigger for Ruger M77 Mk2
Has anyone tried the Timney trigger and sear for the M77 Mk2? If so, what's your opinion?

Seems like a lot of money, but it gives you a great trigger. My problem was, all I could install was their sear and spring. My rifle is a LH action, the safety tab on their trigger is of course on the wrong side, for my rifle. So, I can't adjust my trigger pull. But, I still do not regret buying it. It is like night and day. The factory trigger was terrible.

I put this same trigger on my .338WM M77 MK II!! It made a BIG DIFFERENCE, went from 9# pull, lots of creep and over travel to 3.5# pull, CRISP and no over travel. The best $80.00 I ever spent!! It really made a whole new rifle out of the Ruger

Very easy to install, you may need to fit the safety which involves, filing the safety pad on the new trigger. Also a tiny bit of inletting in the stock will have to be done where the overtravel adj. screw is!! The trigger pull is externally adjustable. This sure makes a nice rifle!!!!

Have Fun

BIG SAM
We put one on each (3), of our Ruger .416 Rigbys. Have them set at 3.5 lbs and have been VERY satisfied to say the least.
All the best,
SAM
