Tig welding services for Mauser bolt/handles
Can anyone please recommend an experienced smith looking for work to tig Oberndorf style handles onto Mauser bolts, looking for experience, competence, responsive turnaround time, thank you.

I feel your pain; usually the features you are looking for in a 'smith are mutually exclusive; you either get a good experienced one with long lead times, or an amateur with short ones.

Jim, I've used Accu-Tig and have been acquainted with Mike McCabe for over 10 years. Accutig seam welded two AMT .22 mags for me last year. The entire job was turned around in 7 days coast to coast! Mike is a Mauser expert and you can be assured the final result will be period accurate.
