M-70 Date of Manufacture

Can someone direct me to a site that gives the date of manufacture for Winchester rifles. I'm trying to find out what year a M-70 PF SER-#G202XXXX was made. Sometime in the late 80's I think. Thanks.

Search "winchester firearms date of manufacture" right from your search engine. You'll go to the Winchester Homepage. Click on your model and fill in the serial number in the field provided. Shouldn't take you 30 seconds.

Thanks Rootbeer, but I was unable to locate anything on the Winchester home page, and the Winchester collectors page has a dead link. Anyone else know where to find this info.
