rugeruserAperture sight for a Win 92 in 218 Bee?
Also posted on the lever action forum...
I'm getting a Win 92 in 218 Bee from a friend, and want to put better sights on it to help these old eyes...
I don't want to put a side mount scope on it, as I want to keep it as light and handy as possible.
I'm not real keen on the tang sight idea.
Is there a sight that mounts on the receiver? What brand and model should I be looking for? I've tried logging into Williams gunsight page, but keep getting a 404 error...
Any help?

AZ PeteThe Lyman 57 WTR should fit your rifle. I have one on a M-94 and it is a great sight.

rugeruserThanks Pete,
That's exactly what I'm after...
Might see if I can pick one up on Ebay.
Cheers

There's a Williams Foolproof that fits as well. I had one on a Browning M65 in .218 Bee. I was fortunare enough to also have an old Redfield Sourdough front blade of the correct height, and put that on the front. There is no better combination of iron sights for any purpose!
You can smoke the blade of the Sourdough for target shooting, and wipe the soot off when using it for deep woods hunting..........

thanks for the tip! I'll check out both sights.
