Winchester M-70 classic magnum action weight?
Does anybody know the weight of the Winchester M-70 classic SS with hinge floor plate and the bolt? by the way it was chambered in 7mm rem mag, is there is a weight difference between the 375 H&H and the 7mm rem mag. Thanks for responding.

Never weighed one, but I believe they are the same action as the standard-length, just without the mag spacer, different ejector/bolt stop, etc.
And if that's right, you could weigh an '06 action for that matter and it should be the same.
If you have crossbolts nad extra recoil lugs on the 375 that's the only way I can see it being heavier. They can't afford to make (read: we won't pay for them to make) a different action for different calibers.
The 7mm is the same case a s the H&H (but blown out) so I'd bet at least $3 it's the same.
-big help, I know.
Don't mention it. [Big Grin]
