high comb stock for Browning 1885?
Just purchased Browning 1885 Wyoming Commemorative 25-06 with 30" octagon barrel, quite beautiful rifle with awful rifle style crescent buttplate stock. Would the standard shotgun style or BPCR stocks fit and which would have a higher comb more suitable for a scope sight? Trigger pull not good and have emailed Lee Shaver today to see if he can fix it. Would like a set trigger but do not find one in the Brownell catalog.

You can contact George Peterson at Treebone Carving. He makes several different stocks for the 1885. He has just what you are describing.

Both Meacham High Wall and Steve Garby can do the trigger work for you.

You also have an email.
