Stock Painting
Does anyone have a custom stock painter they would care to recommend?

Or a paint that would be durable and matte finshed to buy and try?

Thanks!

the stuff I've been using on synthetic stocks is a product called Rustoleum Anti-Skid Floor Paint. It has proven to be very tough and resistant to chemicals including DEET. It has a good texture for a rifle stock as well, the right amount of 'grippiness' without being too abrasive. It comes in med grey, black, and clear.

Michael Kavanaugh is the best that you will find! It is like any thing else, how much do you want to pay. He knows his products and he knows gunstocks. 940-367-7011 Butch

Don't know what you want it to look like but I've had two done by Trebark's "Second Skin" method and it's tough as nails. About $100 on wood and $120 on synthetics:
