rick0311Another of my favorites....
Until you spread your wings, you will have no idea how far you can walk!
And my all time favorite:
If your are not part of the solution, there is normally very good money to be made in prolonging the problem!

"Have gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, keep me here."

rick0311There may be no stupid questions...but have you ever noticed how many inquisitive idiots there are out there?

People that think they know it all really tend to piss off those of us who actually do!

Paul BI have two favorites.
1. If at first you don't succed, to hell with it.
2. I consider the day a total loss unless I catch hell at least once.

Dago RedThis is one I came up with (probably somebody else has said it) that gets good laughs:
"I'm not lazy, I just don't like to do anything."
Some others I like:
"The next best thing to being a redhead is making love to one."
"Don't stand too close, stupid might be contageous".

triggerguard1A good friend of mine had this advise in my former female relationship.
"Is the f#cking you're getting, worth the f#cking you're getting?"
Of course the answer was no, so i aint getting either.

Dago RedFunny that you mention that one, my dad, who would be about 58 now said that when he was in high school his friend's dad gave them that admonition,"the f*#^ng you get ain't worth the f&#%ng you take."
I have a friend that got off ok though. his wife left him for his good friend of 20+ years, he figured it was better that way, as he heard the guy ended up spending 50k on her remodeling his house. :-)

rick0311Red, ''Here's one you'll like then...
Hard work often pays off after time...but laziness always pays off now.
Another good one;
The trouble with the future is that it just ain't what it used to be.
And my favorite from Will Rodgers:
The problem with common sense is that it ain't all the common.

MikelravyI've spent half my life looking for a piece of paper I had in my hand half an hour ago. This from a very colorfull previous coworke of mine. He was missing one eye and had a fair assortment of war wounds and other disabilities and played golf enthusiastically but badly. Once while drubbing some young hot shot the guy said "it isn't fair haveing to compete with you high handicappers" His answer "pop out an eye and I'll ply you straight up the rest of the round"
