Dissassembly and Reassembly of Jennings J-22
Anyone have an idea where I can get an owners manual or some instruction on taking this little gun apart and putting it back together?

Not the best gun , NEVER trust the safty !!!!
J-22 and J-25 are the same

Make sure it is unloaded
dry fire it
Take a ballpoint pen and push it into the hole in the back of the slide .
push retainer in about 1/4"
While pushing in , pull slide back and up ( about 1/2" back)
Slide will now go farward off front .

Watch how it comes apart , firing pin can go in backwards .
If inserted backwards and cocked , it will not fire or come back apart easyly .

Small parts are retained under grip pannel , easy to lose .

Now made and sold under another name .

Thank you!
I'll give it a try!

I never carry this gun with a round in the chamber! The safety moves rather easily!
If I remember correctly, I only gave $30.00 for this piece!

If I remember right , the reason Jennings and Raven are no longer in busniss .
They got sued when the pistols went off , after the the pistol came off safe by itself .

I would never carry it with a chambered round , EVER .
