The forearm lever spring is broken and the forearm won't stay snapped on ...

The tip of the lever spring is broken off ,
And the piece is missing ...

A lot of guns used that j shaped spring. I'd order a few different ones listed for other guns. You should be able to make one work. Or you could make one, but that's probably not what you want to hear. Many times entire forends can be bought off of that site that ends in "bay".

Bakers were the predecessor to LC Smith. Check LC springs and see if there is one like it.

I just found one for an LC Smith , that looks very similar. For under $30 , I'll see if I can make it work ....
Thanks , Bob

HA!

When young I borrowed a
double for ducks. When it fired
the forearm came off in my hand.
and the barrel dropped in the mud.

One shot is all that took me!
