Need help with .250 Savage rotary magazine.
The spring in the magazine is weak or needs to be adjusted...?? What can I do? Any thoughts?

See if I remember: take forearm off; remove cross screw that holds forward end of spindle; rotate spindle to tighten spring; reinsert cross screw which will hold the tension; reinstall forearm. I think that's it, but I've already started drinking tonight.

You need to be careful not to tighten the spring too much. You should carefully note the existing location so you know where you started from.

If you send me your email address I have a multi-page document I will send you that covers the process in detail.

Have to be quite a bit of filler to make a multi-page document out of that process. By the way, I would take the spool out and clean and lube the parts before adjusting. Regards, Bill.

Aside from the clean and lube, you missed the part where you advance the adjustment one notch or turn, reassemble test. Adjustment one notch or turn, reassemble test. Adjustment one notch or turn, reassemble test.

It's easy to miss those two pages Billy.

When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years!

I guess one could throw in a coffee break or two then put in some instructions for the coffee maker.
