I'm in the process of converting a Rem 700 BDL to ADL configuration. Stock should arrive any day now and I thought I had the needed components. However, I was under the impression that the ADL screws were longer, and just pulled out the ones I'd ordered for the conversion and they're the same length as my BDL screws. Are the ADL guard screws indeed longer?

They should be the same but, all stocks vary somewhat and it is not uncommon to be faced with shortening the screws.
