Acra-Glas Thinner? Need Chemical Name...
Called Brownells and they could not tell me what it is. If someone has a can of this, and could post what the contents are, I can buy it locally.

Thanks.

I have a can of the stuff.Just read the lable-the only ingredient it mentions is Xylene-no percentages or other ingredients at all. From the warnings it would be best to use it wearing a spacesuit.Hope this helps. Frank.

They should be able to provide a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) that will tell you what's in it and list precautions and treatments for exposure.

Either acetone or laquer thinner will cut any epoxy-based compound. I work with epoxy resins and paints daily and either will work fine. Laquer thinner will even work as a thinner for epoxy paints and primers.
