If you speak German there is one in Ferlach, Austria it's 4 years long.

I beleive there is one in Elibar, Spain not sure how this one works. It's in the Basque province, and I don't speak the language. I have a hard enough time outside of Madrid and Andalucia.

I had heard there is one in Leige, Belgium, and Suhl, Germany as well. You need to ask Harold Wolf (Hatari Magazine)about this.

They will all take your money and let you attend if your speak the language fluently. Even if you took 4 years of the language in school it would still take you a few months of immersion to feel comfortable with it.

This is the reknowned 100 years old gunsmithing school in Liège (B). It takes 4 years full time tuition to graduate as master gunsmith and students have to handmake and engrave a presentation gun as their graduating masterpiece. Classes are in French only.

What do they charge you to go these schools?

Thanks for the info guys, very interesting!!

What can you tell me about Ecole d, Armurerie in Liege or is it the same school as L'Ecole Léon Mignon ??

Same school indeed. Cost should be minimal as it is an official, not private institution (of course, one should be prepared to relocate in Liège for 4 years...). If interested, I would advise your writing (see address on website).
