I have 2 FN take off barrels (243, 308 Norma Mag) from the 70's. Both are from the same dealer but only one is marked Precision International (FN importer) they appear to have about 12 groove rifling. Was that common, can you tell who made'em?

Could be Marlin. I have two Marlin M-455 FNs made in the late 1950s with stainless microgroove barrels (30-06). 1970's is a little late for FN Mausers.
