Is this crazy?
Take a look at this: 03 Triggerguard

Last year I bought an entire 03 rifle, with Lyman peep sight for only $200. I'm looking for one of these but I sure wouldn't pay this much. Anyone know where I can find one at a reasonable price?

I guess that is proof positive that anything is worth what ever anyone will pay for it. Before I did that, I get a Blackburn or Sunny Hill (if they're available for the Springfield).
