Dressels grip caps
Anyone use Dressels grip caps?

Are they rough cast or nicely finished kinda like dakota caps?

There are machined from bar stock. The one I used on a Rigby project was polished well.

Dressel's caps are heavier and thicker than the competition. I usually use Jerry Fisher's but Dressel's are nice too and look appropriate on heavy rifles. Here's one on a Ruger #1:

I flip them upside down and super glue them to the top of my mill vise and mill off a bunch. I try and thin it up to about the same thickness as the Grisel or Fisher style caps.
