<Gary Rihn>The best? A Jewell.
For practical hunting though, a Timney works great, at about what your 'smith wants to charge you.
Of course, you can always work on the factory trigger yourself, for free. Go to www.snipercountry.com for some good info on how to do it.
For replacement, the Jewel is perfect due to it's 2 stage settings. If you are looking for a standard hunting trigger do it yourself. Why spend $50 on a Timney when you can do it for free, working on them myself I've been able to get rid of all travel and reduced the pull to 3lbs.
