StonecreekRebarreling Sako to .20 Vartarg
I'm thinking of rebarreling a Sako L461 to .20 Vartarg. Lots of good barrels out there, but Douglass offers a threaded, chambered, polished, and crowned barrel for a fairly economical price. Is my assumption correct that the "finished" Douglass barrel only needs a bit milled off of the face in order to headspace correctly, and that once that is done installation is finished?
I'd also welcome any comments on the level of accuracy anyone has experienced with a .20 cal Douglass barrel.

ramrod340Douglas normally leaved a chambered barrel a touch long so you can mill off the face to headspace. They on request will also leave it short. Your choice.

butchloci know douglas doesn't have the aurora of other barrel makers, but IMHO they sure do shoot well, they will also turn the barrel to a factory spec or your own spec if you want
