BadboyzMr. Belk Surface Grinding Prices?
Mr. Belk,
Without asking for a direct quote, what would be the running approximate price for someman looking to have an action surface ground and returned in the white? Just a guestimate of what is industry average would be great.
It simply amazes me with the transition that occurred with the One Eyed Jack that you built.
Thanks.

<JBelk>BB--
I grind the front ring and rear bridge to FN contour on M-98s for $75.
I also do a rough "level and leave it" on the left rail and whatever needs touched up for an extra $25. It's not a complete polish but it shows what's possible and gets the rough work out of the way.

30 Caliber Mag FanBad or Jack-
Would one of you be so kind as to post a picture of the "One Eyed Jack" to this thread or a link to an earlier thread with a picture if available.
Thanks in advance.

fla3006Mr. Belk: Can you also surface grind a rough Mexican Mauser for about the same price ? Also, how much to polish and true a CZ550 magnum action, remove the "billboard" markings, etc. ?

Thanks for the link and the pictures.
To quote Grand Ma Klump from the Nutty Professor, "That made me moist!"

fla3006Nextjoe: Very nice, just what I want, including the M-70 safety, bolt handle, etc. Is that a Jim Wisner safety?

<JBelk>30 Cal Mag---
You ask for the One Eyed Jack pictures....
This was a typical 1909 Argentine that had been arsenal refinished with a blued receiver.....original DWMs weren't blued. The floorplate had been removed but Customstox donated a PME unfitted straddle plate with the action for my cataract surgery.......and I thank him!!
This is it ready to ship to the Chic for a nice piece of crotch grain English.
Many more pictures and some descriptions, etc. posted
HERE and
HERE The operation was a total sucess!!
