I wanted to know how good the coating was for all weather gun & the abuse they take out in the field.
want a working gun finish...not something that i have to worry about.

kcstottPVD is a coating technique not an additive As far as I know it to be. PVD is Physical Vapor Deposition but the thing is they can deposit nearly anything including ceramics
So they have enhanced the nickel plating with an additive that may be ceramic based and they use PVD to plate the part
