clattinDayton Traister Trigger Anyone?
I may be switching my Enfield p17 to a cock on open configuration which my understanding is that it will require that I switch from the Timney trigger that is currently there to the Dayton Traister trigger. Anyone have experience with this trigger, good or bad?
I'm very fond of Timney triggers and have them on several rifles. Love how crisp they are without any creep!
Thanks!
Chris

grizz007have one on a Rem 1917, first one I had came across and as it came on the rifle it seems like a good pull. Not like a Timney but it is better than stock for sure.

SnellstromI ordered a Dayton Traister cock on open kit with trigger for my M96 swede both the guy who installed my 2 position safety and my regular gunsmith who installed the kit made comments about what a piece of work the trigger was. I am replacing it with a Timney.
You can order the cock on open kit with or with out the trigger and just buy a Timney instead and save yourself some head aches, which is what I did on my second swede.
Good luck
