Jeffe, I want to do a comparison shoot with Rusty's unported whitworth to see what I'd be getting myself in for. We tentatively will do so in a couple of weeks (Oct 3?). I'm gonna do a sporting clays shoot at ASC on Sunday afternoon and may hang around to shoot rifles too. Is that in your reach? I know I have your cell at the office, not sure I've got it at home. I can tell you what doesnt work, electrical tape, HA! A fellow showed up at the farm one day with a savage 7 mag with the ports. He said it was loud so he wrapped a dozen winds of black tape over it. he stepped up to shoot it at a rock without muffs on as I shook my head and looked on. I think he said the ringing in his ears has stopped!
I drove home on a dirt road after getting my nuts snipped, and the laticane wore off half way back , no way I'm letting anyone tinker on them again!!
