Small Fry...

I'm looking for a 6.5mm barrel for a custom project. Need at least 24", preferably 26" that I can cut down. It's going to be a short action 6.5mm wildcat of some sort. Perhaps a 6.5x284 or a 6.5x300WSM.

Try Midway they had a 6.5 barrel blank A&B for about $60.00.

I`d take a look at Lothar Walther as a barrel for your project. The cartridges you name are known to be hard on barrels and LW is claimed to be a bit better at resisting erosion then the others. (I can`t prove it, just passing on hearsay) I can say the three I have are very accurate. I consider them amoung the best out there.
