A local gunsmith told me it wasn't needed because of where the recoil lug is located and it can't get any better than it already is. Has anyone has there T3 bedded? I can't believe this would be true. Mine is a synthetic stock of course. If you have pics that would be great. Thanks

I don't think it needs to be done either, on mine the barreled action to stock fit is the best I have ever seen on any factory rifle, also the recoil lug is in the stock, and the action fits on it very tightly I might add. the stock is actually fairly sturdy. my sub 6.5# 30-06 shoots honest to god 3 shot .5 groups with several loads and bullets, so unless the rifle is giving you some sort of problem I say enjoy it.
