I guess it just goes to show that if you make at least a little effort at getting along it can pay off.

JD Steele and I disagreed about a peice of wood on a stock in one of these threads but the discussion ended up with him offering me a couple nice peices of wood for the money.

I just got the stocks yesterday and they were exactly as he described them. He was a pleasure to do business with.

So I guess if you give folks a chance they might turn out better than at first thought.

DJ, you're very welcome indeed, and thank you for the 'good guy' report. I've tried to make The Golden Rule a cornerstone of my life and wish the same for others. Just because we disagree doesn't mean we hafta disrespect one another.

Yes, but you already got my non-dedicated blanks, the others are a LOT higher grade and are 'intended' for various future projects. Actually one of the blanks you got was also 'intended' but I have a LOTTA project actions hanging on the wall and that one was at the rear of the pack. I just cut up a nice 1-pc blank to make a stock for my Elsie project, ran out of 2-pc ones and now you've finished cleaning out my stash!
