Pre-64 when was it made
I know where a pre-64 is at in a 264 win mag in about 95% original condition it has the red winchester pad and the hood for the front site is still there. Anyhow can some one out there tell me when this rifle was made the serial number is 518449. By the way it is the westerner.

jimmyd223323, If you don't get this gun, please pass the info along to me, thanks jimmyd
Well I did get it. The guy let me have it for 800.00 I thought it was a fair price good bore looks like it was ever hardly shot. Left a hundred dollar deposit my dad is going to pick it up for me next week. Nosler proshop has a nice pre-64 in a 257 roberts it has leupold var II 3x9 on it for $595. I guess someone drilled it for a receiver site that is why it is so cheap. They also have a real nice one in a 30-06.
Just to let some of you know I know where a nice model 54 is at in a 30-06 for 495.00 it has been drilled and tapped for a scope. For any of you Sako fans I know where a nice L61 is for 600.00, it is in a 270.
