help loosening remington trigger adjustment screws??
I just got a new remington 700 sendero, the trigger adjustment screws where dooshed with epoxy and will not come loose, I am worried I will break the allen wrench trying to back them out. any suggestions on what to use to get these loose??

tin can
when I've read of this before, the suggestions run towards heating the screws with a soldering iron, then applying the allen wrench.

A gunsmith comes to mind. Big Grin Try warming it with a little heat from a propane torch. Becareful, it will cost good bucks to drill that puppy out if you strip the head.

thanks for the tips, I tired the soldering iron it didn't work fortunately I was able to at least break loose the weight adjustment screw and got the pull I wanted without any creep or grittyness, so I didn't need to mess with the overtravel and sear adjustment,

Malm, the best trigger I have is still the one on that remington you did for me, its a 40oz, glass rod, its funny how a really great trigger like that doesn't have to be the lightest in pull weight to get all you can out of it, it seems just as easy to shoot as my CZ set triggers which are 12 oz
