P-14 / P-17 Barrel tenon dimensions

What is the diameter of the barrel tenon? Basically, I'm wondering if I could have a CZ-550 barrel re-threaded to use with an Enfield. I assumed it would work, since the CZ receiver ring is larger in diameter, but from what I read in another post, I may be wrong.

What's the real story?

The Enfields are a 1 1/8" shank while the CZ is 28mm or roughly 1.1". Regards, Bill.
