1903 Springfield barrel shroud?

Anyone make a shroud to conceal the step at the end of the barrel if one has the issue sight removed? I know, it's kind of hick.

Hey Bill.
I think Lyman, Redfield and maybe another company made a banded front sight specific for that.
It either covers the step or ends at the step which conceals it.
I see some on E bay and Gunbroker at times...
