I did not find them in Brownell's catalog. Any suggestions?

They have them: If the link doesn't work, do a search on their website.

I've had good service with Hoosier Gun Parts. On two occassions I've ordered some mauser stuff and had it in hand within 4 days.

Damn near anybody has used military extractors. Springfield Sporters, Gun Parts Corp., etc.

Somebody was posting awhile back that you can buy the "new" Interarms/Charles Daly extractors if you're so inclined. I've seen them on Ebay for $15 or so with a new ring.

Are you looking for something special???

these extractors are cast and pretty rough. THey are worse than any M70 extractor I have seen, and the M70 extractors get beat up pretty badly here. Persoanally, I would find an old military extractor in good condition

500grains,

I asked around once and got several bad reviews on the Gun Runners brand Mauser extractor that Brownell's sells. In light of that, I opted to use a used military extractor for what I needed.

What'cha up to that you need a new extractor? These don't wear out all that easily...?

Thank you all.

Tex, I have an M98 that someone tried to alter so that the bolt could be closed on a round in the chamber. It holds the rim a bit loose, and I though a new extractor was the safest route to address the issue.

500grains,

Don't you hate to find someone else's good idea? Mad

Honestly, the last 4 or 5 extractors I have purchased were off eBay. All of them worked great! Two of the 5 are part of currently ongoing projects.

Truthfully, I'd rather look there first over GPC as I have yet to have a seller rip me off on return shipping the way Numrich GPC did. Screw paying shipping both ways on a part that was misleadingly advertised that I could not use...
