Shot stringing diagnosis
Somebody posted on this not long ago, but I can't find it. How do you diagnose shot-stringing problems? It was something like bedding problems usually manifest themselves as vertical stringing, horizontal stringing is the barrel bearing on the stock in a high spot, two separate "groups" with alternating shots is usually????

Can somebody help me out here?

Thanks,

Steve

You hit the first two on the head. The 3rd you mentioned is typically going to be something with the scope. Either the scope itself is shifting back and forth internally, or the mounts are not tight etc.

Someone else may chime in with some other possibilities but IMHO those are the heavy hitters.
